When it’s too hot and the flowers have being sizzled by the sun what do you do??
You use artificial flowers. My bride had her heart set on birds of paradise, and this year the weather in January was hot, hot, hot and all the suppliers plants were sizzled from the heat. I even went on Facebook to see if any one had them growing in the garden that I could use. Any way long story short I was able to get a few bunches which I used in the bridal bouquet and buttonhole. But the rest I had to use artificial flowers, when you mix them with other flowers no one knows the difference and they actually added to the effect. I used the silk ones in the bridal party flowers to fill in the gaps and in the table arrangements.
Happy bride, a lot of work but it was worth it in the end.
